Hey Friends,  no I didn't fall of the face of the earth, but rather I have been super busy. Urbana was absolutely amaizng for me. The more I wrestled with God the more  I realized he wanted to initiate with me, but often I'm too stubborn to hear from him. That was one area God was working on me. He'll lead me!!! What a concept. Anyways, come ask me more about it if you want. I love to talk about it. It's been a great week. Seeing the Hedrick Family, having some deep conversations with those I love (looking for some more deep conversations with those I haven't gotten to yet) Seeing my 4N friends always gives me joy and saddness because I miss them so much. It's weird realizing how much change we keep going throug, but at the same time I"m realizing we're all sitll the same as well.  Anyways, it's been fun reading all your xanga tonight. YOU KEPT ME AWAKE TONIGHT THANKS!!!!!!!!

I"m really excited about being in the word with my class again. I"m realizing more and more that URbana is exciting the whole experience is something to remember and I learned some valuable lessons about myself, but it is in the word studies where I wrestlle with God and my class that those lessons and learnings will stick with me forever. I AM SO EXCITED to be back with those I really have developed a deep/ vunerable relationship with--the Junior class. For any of you who are still debating weather or nor to come this weekend. Show up at Haines A17 at 6 because it is time in the word that will really change you. It is where you will meet Jesus in a real and powerful way.

God bless my loves. P.s check out Johnny's xanga--he has a great song on it Check you out Johnny

Hey hey I am alive. No I didn't fall off the face of the earth, I have just been busy. I'm starting to come down with a cold and slept 12 hours last night, but I am so blessed because I got to see my bestfriend yesterday as well as my favorite family outside of my own. I'm going to Urbanna in 6 days and I get to praise Jesus for Christmas. What more could I want. Anyways just wanted to say hello to all my xanga friends and which you a very Merry Christmas. Love you lots and miss you too. Love me

Today's Learnings

Quirkiness is still a great joy of mine and needs to be expressed more often--Thanks Nan

When brownies aren't done all the way they really look interesting, but still taste fudgy and delicious--Sorry Hedrick

I realized that my favorite qualities of God this quarter has been that He is Mysterious, a Redeemer, and Suprising. Ask me some time

Listening to the song on Kiss about the son who can't please His Father and sings "sorry I  can't be perfect." made me really realize that it's not how perfect we can be that matters. As ryan said this week " God would rather have my messy self than a fake perfect self." So with that, May I experienc grace for late papers--because I'm not perfect. Thankfully I serve a perfect God though whose love runs deeper, wider, and longer than I'll ever understand.

Well, life. Life is an interesting thing and I have to often take some time to be grateful for the friends I have. I was paid a visit today by several people, though I wasn't even there, which was a great reminder that God really has blessed me with wonderful friends. Thanks Julia and Kristen for your continuous support. It was also good to hang out with Kat, Jesse, and Mike after a Joyful day of studying with Angie.Yes, I said a joyful day of studying. God blessed us both with productivty and laughter. It was wonderful. Tommorow, I"m looking forward to lunch with Kenny to talk about my favorite subject ever!!!! Loving those Gods heart breaks for. Also, on tommorows schedule, Lord willling, baking cookies with Nanners--another one of my favorite people and things to do.

Another thing I learned this week--be careful how you wrestle with God, He may just give you the exact verse you need.  Mine you ask? Job19:25-27. It inspired me for this week.
